Francisco Amador Obituary

Francisco Amador, of Bloomington, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at his residence. He was born on April 19th in East Chicago, Indiana; the son of Juan and Margaret (Guzman) Amador. Francisco was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having been honorably discharged. In addition, he was a Reserve Sheriff's Deputy with the Monroe County Sheriff's Department.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, American Legion, and the V.F.W. Francisco enjoyed reading, gardening, and antiques. His most cherished time spent was being with his beloved family, especially his great-nieces and great-nephews. Francisco is survived by his twin brother, who was by his side, Javier Amador and wife Tammy, siblings, Juan, Norma, Vicky, and Connie; nieces, Haley, Azalya, Cordelia, and Avery; and nephews, Nicholas and wife Angie, and Joshua and wife Ashly.

He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be no services at this time. Allen Funeral Home and Crematory, 4155 S. Old State Road 37, Bloomington, have been entrusted with arrangements.
