He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburt Waldrip and Wyrtus Waldrip (Starbuck); and his wife Janice Waldrip (Collier). He is survived by: his children, Tina Sexton (Mark), Tim Waldrip (Carol) and Phil Waldrip (Teresa); his siblings, Fran Medley and Howard Waldrip; and his grandchildren, Michael Sexton (Danielle), Heather Torphy (David), Brad Waldrip (Christie), Jennifer Waldrip, Adam Waldrip (Shawna) and Rachel Dalton (Brock). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Allen Funeral Home and Crematory (4155 S Old State Rd 37, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
