We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2024, at the age of 88, Gilbert L. Apple Jr. (Bloomington, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert and Wanda Pearl Apple (Underwood); his grandparents, Thomas Hendricks Underwood and Mabel Katherine Underwood (Skimmerhorn); his wife Sandra E. Apple (Sylvester); and his brother Robert Apple.

He is survived by: his children, Lori McLane (John) and Michael Apple; and also, Rick and Robert Ferguson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bloomington Boys & Girls Club.
