With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert L. Houze of Bloomington, Indiana, born in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, who passed away on January 30, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, E. F. "Bunt" Houze and Hazel Houze (Courtney); his wife Doris; and also, Albert and Anna Laker.

He is survived by: his daughters, Gayla Klingelhoffer and Krista Bill (Don) of Lawrenceburg, Indiana.; and his great grandchildren, Reece Lozano of Bloomington, Jackson of Bloomington, Sydney of Bloomington, Mallory Pitner of Bloomington, Keagan and Addyson Bill of Noblesville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Aurora.
