He was predeceased by: his parents, Hamilton Stewart and Goldie Stewart; his daughter-in-law Lori Stewart; his grandchildren, Michelle Stewart and Tyler Karnes; and his siblings, Harry Stewart, Rodney Stewart, Edna Stewart and Lucille Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Brinegar; his children, David Stewart, Danny Stewart, Debbie Landrum (David) and Diane Stewart Karnes; and his grandchildren, Josh Karnes (Heather), Josh Stewart (Alicia), Damian Landrum, Devin Landrum, Ashley Karnes Karshen (Josh), Brittany Cook (Lance) and Crystal Landrum. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
