He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Whaley and Wanta Whaley (Faulk); his children, Tanya Yarling (Todd), Bobby Whaley (Hope) and Beverly Deckard (Eddie); his grandchildren, Lindsey Whaley (Jeff Duncan), Brittney Davis (Pat), Trent Whaley (Steff), Tyler Deckard (Sarah) and Tabby; his great grandchildren, Brylee, Brooklyn, Connor, Caroline, Grant, Allie and Easton; his wife Preceding; his siblings, Ola Underwood, Nancy Jo Sheets, Sue Watkins, Grover Walters, Paul Edward Whaley and William Leroy Whaley; his sister-in-law Janet Whaley; his granddaughter Tasha Yarling; Darold, Joe, Jim, Helen, Martha, Donnie, Darlene and Ramona Peoples. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
