He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Richard and Elizabeth "Irene" Smoot (Pruitt); and his stepson Michael Cundiff. He is survived by: his sister Francine Ward; his wife Cathy Cundiff Smoot (Collins); his sons, Anthony (Pamela) and Paul (Felicia); his stepchildren, Michelle Muriel (Cundiff) and Matthew Cundiff; and his grandchildren, Breanna, Gabriel and Levi. He is also survived by 16 step-grandchildren and 16 step- great-grandchildren.
