She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ferree and Zella Ferree; her former husband Ronald Brummett; and her siblings, Paul Ferree, Wanda Jackson, Herbert Ferree, Evelyn Polly and Jane Hamilton.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Owens (Donald), Russell Brummett (Samantha) of Bloomington and Sharon Allen (David) of Loveland, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Dr. Donald Owens III (Katie), Benjamin Owens, Jacob Owens (Hailey), Casie Waymire, Grant Allen, Liza Allen and Paige Brummett. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Church of the Nazarene (700 W Howe St, Bloomington, IN 47403). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
