He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Gholson and Wilma V. Gholson (Pearson); and his siblings, William M. "Kenny" Gholson, Larry Gholson, Hilda Bailey and Shirley Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Gholson; his daughter Cheryl Anderson (Joseph); his stepson Timothy Flynn; his granddaughters, Shauna Hanner (Justin) and Heather Maggard; his stepgranddaughter Stacey Flynn; his great grandchild Carter Maggard; his stepgreat-grandson Elijah Flynn; and his siblings, Nina L. Hauersperger and Jerry Gholson.
The family wishes any memorial donations in Jack's name be given to the Word of Life Fellowship Church.
