With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Richard of Bloomington, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Richard and Anna Belle Richard (Smith); and his brother Hal. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rogers Richard; his stepchildren, Lisa Wilber of Madison, WI and Jason Wilber (Michele Mattoon) of Bloomington, IN; his stepgrandson Cameron Mattoon (RuRu) of Kuala Lumpur; and his siblings, Dianna Sellers (Mike), Ron Richard (Sara), Jerry Richard (Sheryl), Gale Shireman (Dennis), Jeff Bailey and Jason Bailey.
