He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pate and Wilma Pate. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Pate (Hardison); his children, Sharon Boyer (Randy), Scott Pate (Melissa) and Mike Pate (Channon); and his grandchildren, Amy, Matt, Megan, Jessica, Craig, Alex, Michael, Chandler and Oliver. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
