We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2024, at the age of 71, Janelle D. Benedict (Bloomington, Indiana), born in Columbus, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank and Lillian; and her sister Connie Hollmann. She is survived by: her sister Deb Benedict of Bellwood; and her nieces and nephews, Erik Hollmann, Arin Hollmann, Crystal Hollmann and Wendy Fisher (Matt).
It was her wish that rather than sending a gift or flowers that you honor her memory by donating blood, becoming an organ or tissue donor, or by bequeathing your body to science as she did. In Lieu of such donation, Janelle requests that you prominently display our nation's flag on your property and that you ensure that the flag remains well-maintained and serviceable.
