Janet Nichols Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Nichols (Bloomington, Indiana), who passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isom Lafayette Stephens and Ida May Rupp Stephens; her brother George Isom Stephens; her husband Wayne D. Nichols; and her granddaughter Audra Jane Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Maureen Nichols, Rachel Nichols (Meg), Stephanie Penny Lookenbill (Damien), Eric Wayne Nichols (Jane), Ryan Stephens Nichols (Maria) and Sam Stephens Nichols (Kelley); and her siblings, Carolyn Mooring, Marian Irving and Paul Dee Stephens. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
