It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Marion Herder in Bloomington, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 3, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Peterson and Joan Peterson; her nephew John K. Herder, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Margaret Herder. She is survived by: her significant other Gary Herder; her sister Patricia (Pat) Sloo (Terry); her nieces and nephews, Dr. Carrie Zuckerman (Jeff), Scott Sloo and Le Isaac Weaver (Lisa DeWeese); her brother-in-law John Herder; her caregiver Kady Lane (Patricia Krahnke); Hien, Nga Duong and Dr. Jane Duong (Sean Curtis).
