He was predeceased by: his father David Thomason; and his stepfather Thomas Bridges (Clyde). He is survived by: his mother Susanne Bridges (Bunger); and his siblings, Christia Thomason (Cristy Brown), John Thomason (Eileen Banguis Thomason) and James Thomason (Jennifer Thomason). He is also survived by three nieces, and a nephew.

However, contributions in his memory can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
