He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brinegar and Verna Brinegar (Howe); his siblings, Raymond Brinegar and Joyce Brinegar; and his grandson Noel Brinegar.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Trisler" Brinegar; his children, Karen Britton (Dave), Danny Brinegar (Tammy) and David Brinegar (Brandy); his grandchildren, Amanda Britton, Shelby Owens (Zach), Jay Brinegar (Makenzie), Morgan Brinegar, Eli Britton (Mary), Lacy and Levi Brinegar; his sister Sandra Rogers; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Brinegar. He is also survived by four great grand daughters.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Little Union Baptist Church (3000 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
