He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Clifford and Lela Ethel Mitchell (Wampler); and his sisters, Ruth Todd and Venus Abbott. He is survived by: his wife Lois Waldrip; his sons, Ron Mitchell (Katrina), Scott Mitchell (Charlene) and Tim Mitchell (Michelle); his grandchildren, Josh Mitchell (Kristin), Jessica (Trevor McConnell), Levi Mitchell (Lauren) and Aricka Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Amelia Mitchell, Cooper Mitchell, Nolan McConnell and Lauren McConnell.
