Jerry P. Megnin Obituary

We announce the death of Jerry P. Megnin (Bloomington, Indiana), who passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 78. Jerry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Megnin and Evelyn Megnin; and his nephew Jeff Megnin. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl; his children, Steven, Jeremy, Andrew, Logan (Demi) and Courtney Miller; his siblings, David (June), Ned (Shirley), Bruce (Lola) and Ann Deweese (John); his brother-in-law Tony White (Sheryl); his grandchildren, Marissa (Aaric), Hayden, Hunter, Eleanor and Hudson; and his great grandchild Jackson. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

He even started a meeting in his workshop during Covid that is still active today.
