It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Mitchner of Bloomington, Indiana, born in Monroe, Indiana, who passed away on April 5, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Rice and Bertha Rice (Dupree); her husband Raymond Mitchner; and her grandson Jacob Seth Mitchner. She is survived by: her sons, Steven Eugene Mitchner (Martha) of Bloomington and Rickie Lee Mitchner (Jennifer) of Bloomington; her grandson Brandon Mitchner (Michele); her sons, Jelayne Taylor (Cory) and Andrew Mitchner; her sister Betty Siscoe of Bloomington; her nephews, Mark and Gary Siscoe; and her niece Vickie Sciscoe Smith.
