He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Misheikis and Mary Misheikis (Schakness); his wife Marie Misheikis (Parenti); his siblings, Charlie, Tony, Alex, Ted, Mickey, Antonette and Mary; and his close friend Bonnie Creech.
He is survived by: his children, David Misheikis (Marcia) of NorthLake, Scott Misheikis (Kelly) of Bloomington and Nancy Kawahara (Ken) of Glendale Heights, Illinois; his grandchildren, Lynda Misheikis, Matt Kawahara (Meghan), Mark Kawahara, Steven Misheikis (Gwendolyn), Kameron Misheikis and Konner Misheikis; his great grandchildren, Emily, Ian and Owen Eldridge; and his grandchildren, Brenden, Logan, Duncan Misheikis and Kai Kawahara.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's name to Bloomington Hospital Hospice Service or the American Heart Association.
