He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward, Sr. and Naomi White (Shute); his wife Sara White (Atwood); and his siblings, Susie Bayne and William Kevin White.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Warthan (Tracy) and Jacquelyn Bedel (Matt); his pet Stewie; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Sears, Wyatt Warthan, Audrey Warthan, Charlotte Warthan, Kaylynn Bedel and Jayla Bedel; and his siblings, Connie Kent, Marsha Gwaltney (Larry), Sherri Hamilton (Randy) and Bruce White. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Monroe County Animal Shelter in John's name.
