We bid farewell to Joseph Lyndol Edwards (Bloomington, Indiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 7, 2025 at the age of 91. Joseph Lyndol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Edwards and Olive Edwards (Powell); his in-laws, Mary and Harley Masters; and his brother-in-law Donald Osborne.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Edwards of Florida; his stepson Jess Calvert (Brianna Black) of Franklin; his siblings-in-law, Sharon Masters of Bloomington and Rick Masters (Maryann) of Ellettsville; his sisters, Greta Osborne and Karen Koons (Terry) of Stanford; and his nephews, Mel, Kevin Osborne (Angie), Shayne and Craig Koons.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Powell (3000 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at the Edwards Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
