With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of June Nikirk of Bloomington, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2026 at the age of 100. She was predeceased by: her parents, Courtney Smith and Grace Smith (Wallraff); her husband Curnel; and her siblings, Grant, David, Daniel Smith, Annie May Kraus and Susan McKinney.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Butcher (Michael) and Gerald Nikirk (Susan); her grandchildren, Gerald Harriss (Jannet) and Autumn Nikirk; her great grandchildren, Phoenix, Logan and Shay Harriss; and her sisters, Marguerite Beck and Eunice Alderson.
