She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hester and Mary Hester; and her husband Robert Harold Hartgraves. She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Babbs and Sharon Swafford (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Ashley Wooten, Keri Decker and Malachi Weaver. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
