She is survived by: her significant other Dr. Robert C. Childress; her children, Eric Childress, Sonia Childress-Hoek, Tina Childress-Sanger and Michelle Childress-Nickum; her grandchildren, Morgan, Madeline, Nicholas, Matthew, Alex, Sydney, Melina and Pierce; and her great grandchildren, Mosha, Meadow, Emerik and Noelle Lina.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (2200 S High St, Bloomington, IN 47401).
