He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Wayne and Lucy Miriam Bailey (Crock); his former wife Susan Bailey (Watson); and his siblings, Merle Wayne Bailey, Jack Marion Vernon Bailey, Robert Gene Bailey, Donald Maurice Bailey, Lowell Thomas Bailey and Edith Mae Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Williams Bailey; his children, Tim Bailey (Melanie) and Cathy Moore (Barry); his stepdaughter Tammy Dees (Gary); his siblings, John Wayne Bailey, Donna Jean Bailey Westfall and Ellen Louise Bailey Bolinger; his grandchildren, Curtis Bailey, Colton Wininger, Nolan Wininger, Quinton Bailey, Mason Wininger, Cheyenne McCune and Jesse McCune; his great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Magnolia, Cade, Corbin, Todd, Chloey, Kinsley, Ryker and Kye; and his grandchildren, Pomeranian and Baylee.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Valhalla Memory Gardens (310 N Johnson Ave, Bloomington, IN 47404).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Monroe County Veterans Honor Guard in c/o the funeral home.
