Louis J. Wilkerson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis J. Wilkerson of Bloomington, Indiana, born in Princeton, Indiana, who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis, Sr. Wilkerson and Mary Wilkerson (Carnahan); and his siblings, Kevin Wilkerson and Dana Robinson. He is survived by: his wife Joan Wilkerson (Russell); his children, Misty Newcomb (Brian) of The Villages, Florida, Sean Wilkerson (Nikki) of Gold Bar, Washington, William Gayso, Jr. (Ginny) of Palestine, Texas, Brian Gayso of Sandborn and Angie Koons of Greenwood; and his siblings, Alice Thomas of Owensville, Brenda Peach of Petersburg, Jeff Wilkerson (Michelle) of Griffin and Fred Wilkerson of Owensville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
