We announce the death of Marjorie Chastain of Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 83. Marjorie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Stillions and Theo Stillions (Shields); her husband Delmar Chastain; her sister Althura Hope (Stillions); and her brother-in-law Daniel Hope.
She is survived by: her son Doug Chastain (Becky); her grandchildren, Cole (Hope) and Kennedy Chastain; her great grandchildren, Logan and Lennie Chastain; her nephew Charles Hope (Audrea); and her great-niece Cassandra Harris.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Powell (3000 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Pentecostal Temple, World Missions Fund.
