She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Abram and Idah Louise Short (Peterman); her husband Gary Starnes; her brothers, William Short and Larry Stearley; and her cousins, Anne Hunter and Robert Vicars.
She is survived by: her significant other Jim Richardson of Bloomington; her children, Kevin Hoopingarner (Faith) of Palm Bay, FL, Jennifer Starnes of Bloomington, Danielle Richardson of Goshen and James Richardson (Vanessa) of Piedmont, SC; her grandchildren, Meagan Buckingham, Travis Hoopingarner and Jackson Mahuron; her children, Molly Mungle, Renee Richardson, Cade Mungle, Isabella Richardson and Garrett Richardson; her brothers, Michael Short (Virginia) of Bloomington and Gary Stearley (Gary) of Tampa, FL; her sister-in-law Nancy Stearley (Larry) of Punta Gorda, FL; her nephew Coby Short; and her nieces, Abby Henning, Deanna Short, Sherry Stiles and Debbie Eickles. She is also survived by four great nieces and nephews.
