With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark A. Shields Sr. (Bloomington, Indiana), who passed away on June 26, 2025 at the age of 68. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mark A. Shields Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Leroy and Betty Louise Shields. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Alena Roberts; his son Mark A. Shields, Jr. of Nashville, IN; his grandsons, Logan Henry Shields, Levi Emmett Shields and Landon Wyatt Shields; his brother Ronald Joe Shields (Patty); his aunt Phyllis Shaffer (Keith); and his uncle Fred Shields.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Powell (3000 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at the Of Christ Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Bridge Church of Christ or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
