She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Kirk and Frieda Ethel Kirk (Patterson); her husband Charles William "Bill" Wyatt; her children, Janet Sue Smith and Thomas W. Wyatt; her grandson George Smith; and her brothers, Dale Kirk and Delmar Kirk.

She is survived by: her son Edward R. Wyatt (Beverly); and her grandchildren, Rex Allen Smith, Melissa Jo Hollars, Randy Lee Smith, Wally Smith, Scott Wyatt, Martha Howard, Luke Wyatt, Emily Wyatt and Matt Wyatt-Newman. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Martha's memory may be given to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
