She is survived by: her husband Dr. George Riester; her sister Eva Buffaloe; her son Robert Fike (Judy); and her stepdaughter Kathleen Rabold (John). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor are requested to Bloomington's Olcott Center or The Monroe County Humane Association.
