With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ida Goetze (Bloomington, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 24, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Baile and Salome Baile; and her siblings, Cliff Baile (Beth) and Margaret Hoefle (Bob). She is survived by: her son Erin Goetze (Christa Martin); her grandchildren, Nikolas Derin and Viviana Mary Goetze; her brother James Baile (Wilma); her daughter Munara Mailybekova (Robert Althauser); and her former husband Duane Goetze. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
