It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kathryn Baxter of Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on January 27, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne A. Gilbo and Pearl U. Gilbo (Adams); her husband Ollen Baxter (Paw); her sisters, Barbara Vaught (Robert J.) and Glenda Deckard (Phil); Mel Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, David Baxter (Sue) and Beth Hodges; her sisters, Donna Sue Richardson and Vicky Robertson (Rick); her grandchildren, David S. Baxter (Mahesh Sreedasyem), Heather D. Butcher, Jeffrey T. Hodges and Hailey D. Hodges; and her great grandchildren, Keaton O. Neale (Leon), Shelby F. Eads (Eli), Alexis H. Butcher, Peyton A. Baxter, Sullivan D. Baxter (Ali) and Madeline G. Butcher. She is also survived by 8 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
