He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Pete, Norma Jean Ranard, Hobart and Myrtle Strunk; his aunt Laurie Heckman; his great-aunt Terri Briles; and his great-uncle Kevin Briles.
He is survived by: his parents, Shelly Dodson of Stinesville and Mark Heckman Sr. of Gosport; his child Dory Blue Heckman; his brothers, Mark Heckman Jr. and Michael Heckman (Michelle); his niece Ellie Heckman; his sister Story Heckman; his grandparents, Jerry Strunk (Sue), Judy Sullivan (Roger), Mary Heckman and David Heckman; and his uncles, Jeff Strunk, Luke Heckman (Kelly), Ryan Strunk and Brad Sullivan.
