He is survived by: his children, Richard Pinkerton (Svetlana), Joyce Downing (Jay) of Alpine, TX, Jane Pilgrim (Kevin) and Jennifer Pinkerton; his grandchild Aleksandra Deevi (Santosh); and his children, Christopher Pinkerton, Nicholas Pinkerton, Emma Downing, Anna Downing, Samantha Pilgrim, Maris Pilgrim and Ursula Pinkerton.
