With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Metzger of Bloomington, Indiana, born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on May 31, 2020 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael Metzger to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse G. Metzger and Norma R. Metzger (Bengel); and his brother-in-law Larry Prickett. He is survived by: his wife Virginia (Kleinhans); his brother Bill; his sister-in-law Caroline (Kaiser); his siblings, Debby Prickett and Doug; and his siblings-in-law, Trinda (Fennelly), Fritz Kleinhans and Alice Kleinhans (Ron Eskin). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may go to the Monroe County Humane Association.
