She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond H. Cain and Geneva Cain (Waldrip); her husband Forrest Thompson; her son Eric Thompson; her stepdaughter Janice Thompson; her daughter-in-law Dana Thompson (Trimmer); her sister Jane Cain; and her pet Hoosier.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Sharon Scrogham (Sonny) of Bowling Green; her grandchildren, Eric Thompson (Jessica) of Bloomington, Jacob Thompson of Bloomington and Mary Olsen (Lucius) of Jasper; her great grandchild Grayson Olsen of Jasper; and her brother Dwight Cain (Lorene) of Bloomington. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
