She was predeceased by: her parents, George and Mary Bower, Sr. of Bloomington; her husband Carlyle Lee; her grandson Andrew Joseph Mirer; her great grandchild Nina Grace Mirer; and her brother George Lee Bower.
She is survived by: her children, Jayna Mirer (Dan), Michele Nugen (Rob), David Lee (Sandy), Deborah Bundy (Jeffrey) and Stephen Lee; her grandchildren, Austin Mirer (Sara), Carolyn Mirer, Jacob Nugen (Courtney), Emily Franck (Johnny), Ryan Lee (Becca), Kevin Lee, Steven Lee (Marilyn), Hannah, Ethan, Jackson Bundy, Caleb Gosse, Cooper, Nicholas and Noelle Lee; her great grandchildren, Eleanor, Declan Mirer and Jameson Nugen; and her siblings, Betty Freeman and William Bower. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Church (1503 W That Rd, Bloomington, IN 47403).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to be given to Samaritan's Purse in honor of Nina's lifelong commitment to faith, service, and community.
