He is survived by: his wife Shirley Johnston (Collier); his children, Brad Johnston and Cindy Patton (James) of Bloomington; his sister Constance Elizabeth "Liz" May of Linton, Indiana; his granddaughters, Heather Good (Mike), Autumn Shelton and Charity Sanders (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Justice Shelton, Aaron Sanders and Jonas Sanders.
