He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Pridemore and Catherine Pridemore (Grissom); his sons, Ricky Pridemore of Bloomington and Billy Pridemore (Jennifer) of Mitchell; his siblings, Danny Jo Pridemore of Mitchell, John "Buddy" Pridemore (Janet) of Mitchell, Anita Miller (Mark) of Franklin, Becky Dotts (Marty) of Mitchell, Cathy Lewis (Chuck) of Bedford, David Pridemore of Orleans, Darlene Hunter of Texas and Diane Pruett (Lonnie) of Campbellsburg; his adoptive parents, Earl Pridemore and Linda Pridemore; his son Paul Pridemore, Jr.; his siblings, Carl "Doug" Pridemore, Genie Pridemore and Brian Pridemore; and his brother-in-law Michael Hunter. He was also cherished by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
