He was predeceased by: his father Roger Dale Butcher; his brother Michael Keith Butcher; his uncle Timothy Richardson; and his grandparents, Henry, Elva Richardson, Orville and Mary Butcher.

He is survived by: his mother Shelly Denise Richardson of Bloomington; his wife Crissinda Lee Brault-Butcher of Bloomington; his children, Avery Johnson of Bloomington, Gavin Butcher of Bloomington and Keara Wickline of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Abel and Kinslea Wickline; and his pets, Kinsea and Kimber. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends he made his family.
