He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Rechter and Helen Rogers Rechter; his siblings, Ben R. Rechter and Pat Rechter Daugherty; his sister-in-law Nancy Jones; his daughter Jana Rechter; and his grandson James Clark Rechter.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Susan "Suzy" Rechter; his brother Sam R. Rechter (Bonnie); his stepsiblings, Jerry Neely (Melinda) and Sharon Douglass (Dick); and his children, Rick Rechter II (Suki), Barbara Mullenger (Keith) and Dave Rechter (Suzanne Schriver). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
