He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" and Wanda Sellars (Brown). He is survived by: his son Todd Allen Sellars; his grandchildren, Lila Jane, Bridgette Sellars and Cole Sellars; his great grandchildren, Trennen and Layne Sellars; and his sister Donna Burris (RuthAnn Crandall).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Monroe County Veteran's Honor Guard.
