He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert and Sylvia Carter (Hawkins); and his siblings, Donna Richardson and Mike Carter. He is survived by: his wife Linda Carter; his daughters, Michelle Sims (Mark) and Melanie Abraham (Trent); his grandchildren, Haley Sims, Emma Zogorski (Caleb), Carter Sims and Olivia Abraham; and his sisters, Joan Logan (Jack) and Kathy Brower. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Powell (3000 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Knightridge Cemetery (3775 S Knightridge Rd, Bloomington, IN 47401).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be given to Riley Children's Hospital.
