He was predeceased by: his father George William Bewley, Jr.; his grandmother Elizabeth Whitten; his aunts, Patty Whitten and Christine Hatfield; his uncle Bill Whitten; and his stepsister Julie Tharpe.
He is survived by: his mother Inez Bewley (Whitten); his children, Casey Owen, Ashley Witham (Mark Close) and Michael Witham; his grandchildren, Braxton Mercer and Brayton Mercer; and his siblings, Chris Patterson (Vicki), Yvonne Booher (Travis), Laurie Best and William Bewley.
