It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Kenneth Reed (Bloomington, Indiana), who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. "Ike" Reed and Lotta Roberta McDougal Reed; his son Gerald Stacey Reed; and his siblings, William Ed Reed, Mary Stamps (BR), Helen Dean Estep (Harold) and Vannie Mae Morgan (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Reed; his sons, Kenneth "Bucko" Reed (Jeannie Sturgis Reed) and Roy Shannon Reed (Sondra McGlothlin Reed); his grandchildren, Chelsea, Brooke, Colby, Kayli and Carly; his sister Joyce Wilson (Bobby); and his siblings-in-law, Theresa Reed, Janice Carlisle (Bill), Carol Winans (Clark) and Jeffrey Swafford. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
