With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth I. Gleason of Bloomington, Indiana, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on October 25, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Emch and Bessie Emch (Short). She is survived by: her daughter Marie Gleason Staker; her brother James Emch; her sister-in-law Teresa; and her sibling's children, Paul and Kathy.

In lieu of flowers, Ruth would prefer donations be made to the Brown County Humane Society or the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
