She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Stuart and Josephine Newton (Swango); her husband Donald Hatfield of Bloomington; her daughters, Lark Hatfield of Bloomington and Kim Williams (James) of Bloomington; her grandchildren, Eliza Ruth Williams of Bloomington and Griffin James Williams (Lizzie) of Bedford; her great grandchild Ava Ruth Williams of Bedford; her siblings, Donald Stuart Newton (Dot) of Richmond, VA, David Lee Newton of Charleston, SC and Jo Anne Newton of Colonial Heights, VA; and her pet Maggie.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Oolitic Baptist Church or to the White River Humane Society.
