She was predeceased by: her parents, Estel Haywood and Beatrice Haywood (Love); and her brother Darrell Haywood. She is survived by: her husband Harold J Ooley; her children, Darrell Ooley (Brenda), Dana Ooley (Barb) and Danell Ooley-Bequeret (Mike); her grandchildren, Tiffany Ooley-Sanford (Jeff), Daniel Ooley and Courtney Stewart (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Jedrek Sandord, Taylor Sanford, Jordyn RaeLynne Stewart and William J Stone Stewart; and her sisters, Gloria Rector (Mike), Rhea Dawn May (Ricky) and Sue Fox (Jim). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Shelba's memory may be made to the Ivy Tech Nursing Scholarship.
